About Me

Hello my name is Aissatou Diallo, and I am the owner of IcyK Cosmetics. I have always loved Makeup as long as I can remember. It was high school when I started wearing makeup consistently to cover up my acne. I remember watching endless YouTube videos of learning to do my makeup myself. I bought all the products and tools I needed to start doing my makeup. I remember thinking my makeup will come out looking great, but I was sadly disappointed on how ashy/ghostly my face looked, my eyeliner was not straight at all, my eyelashes were not sticking, it was just a disaster.

So, I started practicing more and more, and gotten better but the one problem I could not solve was that my face always looked ashy after I was done with everything, and that just ruined my confidence and I thought I would never get it right. But one day I learned that all I needed to do was to add a press powder back into my face because I was baking with translucent powder which was making my face look ashy. That one little step I was missing changed my whole routine, and I fell in love with my makeup. So I started doing my makeup almost everyday and I was getting compliments almost everyday from complete strangers on how much they loved my makeup. 

That is when my confidence boosted 10000x and till this day I have never gotten my makeup done from anyone else since high school. So, that had me thinking. How many young girls struggle to do their makeup? I hear so many girls talk about how they can not do their makeup because it is so hard or they can never do it right. So I created IcyK to help young woman who want to get into makeup, but do not know where to start. We help you every step of the way with our products, videos, How To guides, and so much more so you will never have to struggle again, and get your confidence back, and do your own Makeup the right way which is your way!
